In order to convert your logo we need a picture of it. Here's what you need to know:
How Do I Upload My Logo?
Simple! Drag and drop your logo anywhere on this page. You can also click this
icon
or the one at the top of the page. You will be prompted with a dialog that lets you pick a logo from your computer.
Image File Size (pixels)
For best results, your logo should be larger than 300 pixels wide by 300 pixels tall. We recommend at
least 200 pixels per inch. For a 2 inch square logo a 400 pixel square image (or larger) would be best. There
is no harm in using a larger image, we resize them automatically.
Logo File Types
The preferred file tpes are JPG, PNG, and SVG. We also accept GIF and BMP files. If you
have a Tajima DST file use our classic logo uploader.
The Background of Your Logo is Important
When you upload your logo our exclusive uploader tool works its magic. Here is how it deals with the background of logos:
A logo with a transparent background works best
Logo with transparent background
The best image is one with a transparent background. A transparent background allows us to overlay
your logo and create a mockup. PNG or SVG files will generally have a transparent background. The checkerboard
pattern you see is how photo editing software shows a transparent background. Full size mockups of your logo
can be viewed and downloaded in JPEG format by using the zoom feature.
Our logo upload tool can remove light colored backgrounds
Logo with a colored background
If your only logo is one with a white or light colored background, we can work with it. Our
logo upload tool is very good (but not perfect) at removing light backgrounds from artwork.
Our logo upload tool can remove backgrounds from camera phone pics
Using a Phone Camera
if you dont have access to logo artwork, the next best thing ia a picture of your logo. Our logo upload tool can extract your logo from a picture.
For best results:
+ Lay the logo on a flat surface + Have a well lit area + Crop the picture so ONLY the logo is shown + Avoid shadows in the image
Some Final Things to Remember About Embroidered Logos
Text Lettering Size
Very small text is not easily reproduced with embroidery since
we use a zig zag or satin stitch to make the letters. Its best to keep
all text at least 1/4 tall.
Avoid Shadows and Gradients
The best looking embroidered logo's have solid colors
and limited fine detail. Customers with small complex logo's may need to
simplify the logo so it looks good. Don't worry, we're happy to help with this.
Avoid Outlines and Fine Lines
Outlined text must be 3/4 inch or taller. Very fine lines
generally do not come out well.
